“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-9
Okay, so we might not be the “college” group you might be accustomed to, but we assure you it’s fruitful. We know people leave high school with aspirations of college, a career, or maybe even just start a family. With this knowledge we began to tailor our college ministry into intentional relationships that grow within homegroups. These meetings are weekly and start right at our very own college pastor’s house. From there we begin to pray, discuss, study, and fellowship. Through these meetings we discover more about one another, how to pray for each other, and really the best ways to minister to the community. For people 18 and up, life begins to drastically change. For some it speeds up to the point where it can be challenging to even make it to church, much less a Sunday School class. We still feel that the local church is important for people of ALL AGES, and don’t want anyone to make excuses as to why they “can’t make it” or perhaps they’re just “too busy.” We meet in the evenings, have some snacks (sometimes dinner) and allow The Lord to play things out. This is one of the most mission oriented demographics we’ve seen in recent memory and with that we know Christ desires to use each of us in a bold, life-changing way.
